Writing For The Stage
Writing for the Stage is a workshop for playwrights and solo performers at all stages of development. Presenting work and receiving guided feedback from the instructor and the group, participants will develop their own plays. This workshop is designed to keep the playwright writing and therefore provides accountability, inspiration, problem solving and lots of opportunities to take big risks in a safe environment and learn from our mistakes without judgment or jealousy. Instructor helps participants deepen their understanding of story structure, honor the traditions of playwriting and sharpen their skills for giving and receiving constructive criticism in a spirit of mutual respect. Workshop culminates in a public reading of work created in class.
